Formulated for all stages of motherhood
Our products are expertly and thoughtfully formulated for all stages of motherhood, from pre-conception to pregnancy, postpartum, lactation, and beyond. We choose ingredients with well-established safety profiles and formulate with a conservative, risk-minimization approach appropriate for maternal skin.
Every formula is reviewed by an independent, qualified toxicologist, and all ingredients are used at levels considered safe for topical application based on current regulatory standards and safety assessments. Our formulations are developed using the best available scientific evidence, including ingredient safety data, historical human exposure, and how ingredients interact with the skin. Because it is not appropriate to conduct clinical testing on pregnant women, no cosmetic product can be definitively labeled “pregnancy-safe.” Instead, this cautious, evidence-based approach reflects how physicians assess risk during pregnancy: prioritizing thoughtful ingredient selection, appropriate concentrations, avoidance of ingredients associated with known reproductive or developmental concerns, and formulation well below established margins of safety.
“As a board-certified dermatologist, dermatopathologist, and as a mother myself, I am intentional about every formula I create. Each product is reviewed by an independent toxicologist and developed using ingredients with well-established safety profiles. I formulated these products to be appropriate for the most sensitive skin barriers, including during pregnancy and postpartum, using the same evidence-based approach I rely on in clinical practice. This is skincare women can feel confident using throughout all stages of motherhood.” – Dr. Aegean Chan

Why We
Don’t Use
Fear-Based
Language
We believe fear has no place in skincare, especially during motherhood. Labels like “toxin-free” or “pregnancy-safe” can sound reassuring, but they often oversimplify complex science and unintentionally create anxiety, guilt, or confusion.
Instead of marketing through fear, we take an evidence-based approach grounded in dermatology and the principles of toxicology. Our formulas are built by carefully evaluating ingredients, concentrations, and how products are actually used on skin. We prioritize transparency, scientific context, and thoughtful formulation over alarmist claims, because informed choices are more empowering than fear-driven ones.
