As a dermatologist and a mom, I wanted to make the daily stuff easy. This set is the foundation: The Take a Sec Cleanser to melt everything away and The Go-To Moisturizer to keep your skin comfortable all day. Two products. No guessing. Just clean, hydrated skin without the overthinking.

What's Inside
  • The Take a Sec Cleanser (236ml / 8 fl oz) — Your moment of calm. A creamy, hydrating reset when you finally get to the sink.
  • The Go-To Moisturizer (50ml / 1.7 fl oz) — Lightweight, lasting hydration. Feels like a hug for your face when you need one most.
How to Use Together

Let It Go: The Take a Sec Cleanser

  1. AM or PM, apply a dime-sized amount to your wet face.
  2. Gently massage for 20 seconds (and 10 more seconds if you have makeup on).
  3. Rinse well and pat dry. Good clean fun? Done.

Seal It In: The Go-To Moisturizer

  1. AM or PM after cleansing, smooth over face and neck. Hydrated, hassle-free, easy.

Glycerin — 15%

At 15%, this cleanser contains significantly more glycerin than most moisturizers use (typically 3–5%). The intentionally high level helps counteract the moisture loss that typically accompanies cleansing, leaving skin feeling hydrated and comfortable after rinsing — not tight.

Natural Betaine — 1%

An osmoprotectant naturally found in sugar beets, extracted here from the upcycled side stream of sugar production. Helps skin cells manage water balance and supports the skin barrier function over time, complementing glycerin's immediate hydrating effect.

D-Panthenol (Provitamin B5) — 1.5%

Provitamin B5, at a meaningful 1.5% concentration. Known for its moisturizing, soothing, and anti-inflammatory properties — particularly effective at calming sensitized or reactive skin, making it well-suited for the skin changes that can accompany hormonal shifts.

Apricot Kernel Oil

A lightweight emollient that contributes to the cleanser's ability to dissolve makeup without a double-cleanse step. Leaves skin feeling conditioned, not stripped, and rinses clean without residue.

Sulphate-Free Surfactant Blend

Four sulphate-free cleansing agents — two coconut-derived, one amino acid-derived, one glucose-derived — chosen together for the gentlest effective profile available. They produce a cushiony, low-irritation lather that cleans without disrupting the skin's natural pH or surface lipids.

Dr. Aegean Pairs This With

As a dermatologist and a mom, I know most of us don't need more products. We just have a few minutes, so the basics really just have to do their job. I created the set for women who want the essentials to feel simple and actually make a difference. So when I get a rare moment to wash my face, my cleanser has to remove makeup in one wash because who has time to double cleanse? I definitely don't. The Take a Sec Cleanser melts away makeup, SPF, and grime in one step without disrupting your skin. It has this creamy texture that cushions the skin with super hydrating humectants and gentle surfactants that keep your skin soft, not stripped. I struggled to find a moisturizer that didn't leave my skin dry and a little tight a few hours later. The Go-To Moisturizer was inspired by a classic cream I've used for years, but I made it a little more elevated. It's lightweight, not greasy, and truly hydrating. It has glycerin and barrier-supporting lipids, like ceramides, and it reinforces your skin's natural structure, so you have hydration that lasts throughout your day. Cleanse, moisturize, done. There's no overthinking, no complicated layering, just skin that feels clean and supported, and like it's soft again. Start here.

5-Second Answers from Dr. Aegean

You just want someone to tell you what actually works. My job is to look at the actual research and tell you what really matters, without the fear and without the confusion.

Is this bundle safe for pregnancy, postpartum, breastfeeding, and sensitive skin?

Yes. More Than Nine was thoughtfully formulated for all stages of motherhood—and developed with sensitive skin in mind. Each formula is reviewed by an independent toxicologist, made with well-studied ingredients at conservative levels, and tested for skin compatibility, including through an independently administered Repeat Insult Patch Test (RIPT) with individuals with sensitive skin. For more information, read our full Safety Statement.

Why is this considered a foundational routine?

Because most skin doesn’t need more—it needs consistency. This set covers the essentials: cleansing without stripping and hydration that supports your skin barrier all day. It’s the routine I’d tell almost any busy mom to start with.

Why start with just two products?

Because when your skin feels off, more steps usually aren’t the answer. A gentle cleanser and reliable moisturizer can do a lot of heavy lifting—especially during seasons when your skin is changing.

Can this cleanser remove makeup, and is it gentle around the eyes?

Yes, this cleanser does the job in one step, no double cleanse needed. It was independently evaluated using the EpiOcular™ Eye Irritation Test, a validated non-animal method for assessing eye irritation potential. Based on results, the formula is considered a non-ocular irritant, supporting that it’s gentle enough for use around the eye area when used as directed. If stinging or discomfort occurs, discontinue use and rinse thoroughly.

Is this moisturizer non-comedogenic?

Yes, this moisturizer was evaluated through independent non-comedogenic testing, a standard dermatologic assessment to determine whether a product is likely to clog pores when used as directed. In testing, the formula did not show a tendency to contribute to comedone (clogged pore) formation. As with all skincare, individual responses can vary, but this supports that it’s appropriate for acne- and breakout-prone skin.
